The Patient Partner Program is a full 12-week customised program designed to improve overall patient journey and outcomes following hip or knee joint replacement surgery.
Your anaesthetist will telephone you prior to your surgery to discuss your past medical and surgical histories, focusing on any issues or problems that you may have had.
Pain management after your discharge from the ward can be confusing and complicated. Hopefully this information will give you some guidance. If you need further advice, please ring the ward, your own doctor, or the rooms for advice.
We use physiotherapy services from the following providers for our inpatients.
Plasters splint bone or soft tissue injuries in order to maintain position, protect operations, or to rest the limb for swelling and pain.
